I picked this machine up at a garage sale, it was $2, it seemed it was worth more that that. I just don't know what it does. Would someone please explain what this thing is used for. Thanks

well i don'tknow what model it is but i am pretty sure it is the first edition of fax machaine i have a few books on it and be happy to send you a copy it work on the pulse signal and has a dedicated number i have the therd edition and it is pretty close to the same thing you have so hope this help out and yes they worth a few buck but only to collecters
